XAT Registration 2018 has been started now. XAT year 2018 is also referred to Xavier Aptitude Test. It is the university level entrance written exam, which is organized by the XLRI ( Xavier Labour Relations Institute) on the behalf of XAMI. XAT exam is conducted for the admission in more than 150 B Schools of the country. The written exam is the gateway for admission in management courses. For more than 60 years XLRI is organizing XAT exam at all India level basis. Students can get the complete information about XAT 2018 including application, exam dates, admit card, syllabus etc.

Counselling Begins After declaration of exam result
XAT Registration 2018 process is the primary step towards applying for XLRI and XAT associated institutions. The detailed application process is mentioned here.
Applicants have to log in to the website and have to register by creating their account. This will provide you with XAT ID and Password.
Fill all required information like as personal, contact, qualification, etc.
Upload the Scanned images of photograph and signature of the applicant
Make the fee payment through online or offline mode
Take print out of the confirmation page for further use
Application Fee:
Applicants who are interested in XAT but not in XLRI need to pay Rs.1650/-
Applicants interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of Rs.300/- each
Late fee will be Rs.2000/- (for XAT ) and Rs.500/- ( for XLRI course)
Fee payment can be done through online mode credit/debit card or net banking
For cash payment, applicants have to take print out of XAT pay in slip visit the nearest IDBI bank and pay the application fee.
For payment via DD, Make a DD in favor of XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT payable at Jameshdpur from any bank.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are advised to check their XAT eligibility criteria before applying.
Nationality: All Indian candidates can appear for XAT 2018
Qualification: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any stream from any recognized college or institution.
Appearing applicants: Applicants completing their final examination by June 10, 2018, are also eligible to apply. Foreign applicant: NRI and foreign applicants can also apply through GMAT score (except Dubai and Kathmandu wherein applicants have the option to appear in the XAT 2018 examination.
XAT Exam Pattern
Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted through Pen and Paper based mode
Number of Papers: Xat exam is divided into two sections which is paper I and Paper II
A number of questions: Paper I will consist of 72 questions and paper II will consist of 25 questions and one essay topic.

How to Prepare for XAT
- Firstly, you have to gather details about the complete syllabus prescribed for the written exam.
- Make a date sheet for preparation and do not try new topics at the last time
- Try to cover all topics of the syllabus
- Use the best XAT books and study materials for your preparations
- Attempt the previous year question papers and sample papersXAT Syllabus
There is not any fixed syllabus for XAT exam. The XAT syllabus will comprise of various topics such as Decision Making & Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and General Knowledge. In XAT exam, questions will be asked from the above-mentioned topics.
XAT Test Centres 2018
XAT 2018 is to be conducted in forty-seven (47) cities across India and two international cities. Last year too, it was conducted in these many cities. XLRI Jamshedpur, the conducting body may aim to increase the number of test cities or centers to make it more convenient and accessible for the XAT 2018 applicants.
