• On the homepage, click on University Examination here
• Select the Results option here
• Click respective program/course
• Now enter your Roll Number and Click on submit
• The Result will appear on computer /laptop/mobile screen
• Download and take a print your result for future uses.

• The exam result for an odd semester like 1/3/5  ( Odd semesters) is announced around April month.
• The University announced the Result for 2/4/6 (Even Semesters) in the month of October for various programs.
• CU publishes the semester result on its official web portal and no other mode is applicable.

• Kolkata University will not send the hard copy of the result to any of the students to their emails or postal address under any circumstances.

The CU follows the choice based credit system (CBCS) curriculum and the Semester system. The Controller of Examination manages and control all the university examinations and results.

Calcutta University Semester Examinations

1. Calcutta University examinations are conducted semester wise and carried out on CBCS Curriculum.
2. The Examinations for Odd Semesters ( 1/3/5/7) are generally conducted in December month.
3. Even Semesters ( 2/4/6/8) are organized in June/July month
4. All the university students have to fill an examination application /registration form in order to be eligible for appearing in the semester examinations.
5. Candidates are also required to carry a valid hall ticket/admit card released by the CU to the exam hall. University organization will not permit any student to enter the examination hall without the Admit Card.
