Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has issued notification for the recruitment of 546 Teachers posts. This recruitment is announced under the special drive for Northern Eastern Zone. - KVS PGT,TGT,PRT Teacher Educational Qualification:
- 1. Post Gradaute Teacher(PGT): Applicants must have completed their B.Tech/BE/M.Sc./MCA/’B’ & ‘C’ Level DOEACC with minimum 50% marks.
- 2. Trained Graduate Teacher(TGT): Applicants must have a Bachelor Degree from Regional College of Education of NCERT with minimum 50 Per Cent marks. And should have computer knowledge.
- 3. Primary Teacher(PRT): Applicants need to have a graduate degree in relevant filed.
- Age Limit:
- Applicants age should not more than 40 years for PGT, 35 years for TGT, 30 years for Primary Teacher as on 31 October 2017.

Pay Scale for KVS Teacher Recruitment 2017:
- Post Graduate Teachers Pay Scale: RS. 9, 300/- – Rs.34, 800/- + Grade Pay RS. 4, 800/-
- Trained Graduate Teacher Pay Scale: RS. 9, 300/- – Rs.34, 800/- + Grade Pay RS 4, 600/-
- Primary Teacher (PRT) Pay Scale: RS. 9, 300/- – Rs.34, 800/- + Grade Pay RS. 4, 200/-
The registration procedure will start shortly not continue for 15 days till 17 October 2017. The advertisement is announced in different languages like English, Hindi and various other regional languages on 30th September 2017.
The recruitment declared for 546 teachers includes 220 Primary Teachers and 114 Trained Graduate Teachers ( PRT Group B) and (TGT Group B ).
