The Maha TET is a state level entrance exam that determines the suitable candidates for being accepted as a class teacher of Primary Ist to 5th class and Upper primary teacher 6th to 8th class. To be declared qualified, the applicant must obtain the minimum marks set by the council. An examine from SC/ST, Nomadic Tribe, Special Backward Class must secure at least 55% marks and the candidates from General category must secure minimum 60% marks.
