WB Police Constable Bharti 2018 Age Limit: ( Age as on 01/01/2018)
The candidate must not be less than 18 years old and must not be more than 27 years old. The upper age limit be relaxed for the SC/ST applicants of West Bengal only by 5 years and OBC applicants of WB only by 3 years. The upper age limit is also relax able for the NVF and Home Guards Personnel serving in WB Police only as per existing Government Rules. Age relaxation is not available to Civic Volunteers.
WB Police Constable Bharti 2018 Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have passed Madhyamik/10th examination from the West Bengal board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
NOTE : LANGUAGE:
(a) The candidate must be able to speak, read and write Bengali Language. However, this provision will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts.
(b) For the candidate of hill sub divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong district, the previsions laid down in the West Bengal Official language Act 1961 will be applicable.
