The Uttar Pradesh Revenue Department is planning to make recruitment for vacant position Lekhpal posts.  These Lekhpal posts were vacant form long time.  After the municipality elections and ending of code of conduct, recruitment process for Lekhpal will be started.  All important updates regarding UP Lekhpal recruitment  2018 is given in this article.

Total Number of 4000 Posts for Lekhpal Vacancies :   It should be noted that there are 3000 vacant Lekhpal seats and 1000 seats will be vacant after promotion.   All Revenue Inspector posts will be filled by Promotion so Lekhpal will promoted to Revenue Inspector Posts and vacancy will generated. UP Lekhpal vacancies will be generated district wise and category wise.

Age Limit ( Age as on 1/7/2017)  to apply for UP Lekhpal recruitment 2018 applicants age should be between 18 years to 40 years. Age relaxation will be provided according to government norms.

Educational Qualification:  Applicant  should have passed 12th /intermediate or any equivalent exam from recognzied institute. applicants who have served territorial army for two years, have NCC B certificate will be given performance. 

NOTE:  Decision regarding requirement of CCC certificate in UP Lekhpal Examination 2018 is subject to Cabinet decision/government applicants are advised to be ready with their documents.

Pay Scale :    Rs. Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- (Pay Level 3 in 7th Pay Commission).

Application Fee : For General/OBC applicants have to pay fee Rs.300/- while SC/ST applicants has to  pay fee Rs.150/-  Additional bank charges also apply, Application fee can be changes so wait for official notice here.
