DMRC recruitment 2018 Selection Procedure
For Executive Cadre posts viz under section A and C
For Post codes RE01 to RE07 and CE 01 to CE04, the selection methodology will comprise a three stage process-CBT ( two papers), Group Discussion and Personal Interview followed by Medical Examination in Executive (Technical/Non Technical) category as the case may be.
For Non-Executive posts, viz under Section B and D
For Post codes RNE01 to RNE 09 and CNE01 to CNE05, selection methodology will comprise a two stage process —— CBT ( 2 papers) , followed by Medical Examination in prescribed medical standard and for Maintainers posts under , viz RNE 10 to RNE 13, selection methodology will comprise a 2 stage process — CBT one paper followed by medical examination in prescribed medical standard.

DMRC Recruitment 2018 Examination Pattern :
Paper – I:
DMRC Recruitment Examination Pattern will consist of multiple choice objective type questions, bilingual (English/Hind), on General Awareness, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude (General English for Maintainer electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter and Ref & AC Mechanic) and/ knowledge of the discipline/trade.
Examination Mode: Online Mode
Total Number of questions: 129 questions and One mark each question
Full Marks: 120 marks
Negative Mark: 0.33
Maximum Time : 90 minutes
Paper – II:
( not for maintainers post, viz , from RNE10 to RNE 13) will consist of objective type questions on General English to Judge the knowledge of English language.
Total Number of questions: 60 questions
One mark each question: One mark
Full Marks: 60 marks
Negative mark: 0.33 mark
Maximum Time: 45 minutes.
The applicants who qualify separately in paper first and second and rank high on the merit list within zone of consideration in both paper firsts and second paper separately as decided by DMRC shall called, based on the overall merit of CBT(both Paper-I & Paper-II together), category wise, for Medical Examination/GD & Interview, at Delhi/NCR.
The applicants for all categories of posts GD and Interview, shall be paid to and fro sleeper class Railway fate for Journey by the shortest route between Railway station nearest to hometown and Delhi.
DMRC Recruitment 2018 Application Fee:
Unreserved and OBC (including EXSM applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.500/- (exclusive of bank translation) and SC/ST/PWD and women applicants are required to pay a non refundable fee of Rs.250/- (Exclusive of bank transaction charges).
Recruitment fee including bank transaction charges once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Applicants are therefore requested to verify their eligibility, closing date for submission of online application before paying the application fee plus bank transaction charges.
